(Houston, TX) -- An art museum honoring Texas soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan will open in its new Houston home this weekend. Artist Ken Pridgeon started painting the portraits nearly ten years ago at his Baytown home.
The grand opening of the Fallen Warriors Portrait Gallery is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday on Cutten Road near FM 1960.
The Rolling Thunder and Patriot Guard Riders motorcycle groups and a sheriff's department helicopter will escort the portraits to their new home.
