TSA doing enhanced searching of electronics

As you get ready for your Easter break; as you plan your summer vacation, you should know the TSA is facing some questions because of extra searching they are doing of electronics like laptops and smart phones.

Of course the TSA doesn't say why they do it, because that is their policy. A lawsuit has already been filed by the ACLU in California demanding that they disclose their reasons why. iHeartMedia aviation analyst Jay Ratliff told KTRH it does have an impact if you're traveling.

“The more that we see increased security, the slower the screening process is going to be,” Ratliff stated.

And he says it's a double edged sword; we want better security, but we don't want to be inconvenienced.

“Most of who travel think that we should do what we need to do to be safe. But we also think that the threat of terrorism is changing dramatically the way we go about our day to day business,” Ratliff explained.

And because of that, Ratliff isn't sure who is winning; freedom, or the bad guys trying to take that freedom from us.
