Liberals say VP hearing Jesus is a mental illness

Some women on “The View” are mocking Vice President Mike Pence for having a mental illness.

The conservative watchdog group, Media Research Center now wants people to complain to ABC.

Last week, the morning talk show played a “Celebrity Big Brother,” clip of former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman saying Pence "thinks Jesus tells him to say things."

Joy Behar said “It’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you."

“That’s a big problem because that’s a presupposition that even if God exists, He doesn’t respond to us nor does He communicate with us and that is a short-sided view of religion,” said Houston Baptist University's Dr. Shannon Holzer.

Behar added that hearing voices is a "mental illness."

Holzer said Behar twists it to make it seem like our vice president is hearing voices.

“If God does exist, He is not a silent God. That doesn’t mean that Mike Pence is hearing audible noises from God, but that God does communicate to us through different means,” said Holzer.

He said there's a lot of atheists, who believe people who believe in God are irrational at best.
