Need help with a will?
The Houston Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee will sponsor a Will-A-Thon to provide simple wills and basic medical directives, free of charge, for senior citizens 60 and over, disabled persons, and veterans of any age who are Harris County residents and meet the low-income guidelines of the HBA’s Houston Volunteer Lawyers.
To apply for assistance through the Will-A-Thon, call 713-228-0735 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. by March 30, to complete a screening application over the phone.
Those who qualify will be given an appointment to meet with a volunteer attorney on April 4th at the Tidwell Park and Community Center, 9720 Spaulding, 77016. The documents will be completed and executed on May 2 at the same location.
