POLL: Do Democrats really want an immigration fix?

Democrats say they want to fix DACA, but what they are saying and what they are doing are two different things.

Senate Democrats have blocked Republican Senators from debating their proposals and are demanding they only discuss amnesty. It has frustrated Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

“We need to get started on the debate. We could have voted,” McConnell said this week.

David Ray with the Federation for American Immigration Reform tells KTRH Democrats are all talk on this and no action.

“They have yet to come to the table and talk about a real immigration enforcement package that would pass both houses,” Ray explained.

As for the Republicans, Senator Tom Cotton told Fox News the offer they've made to the left won't get any better.

“It’s not an opening bid for negotiations. It’s a best and final offer,” Cotton stated.

And at the end, Ray says Democrats blocking debate only means one thing.

“This is political gamesmanship, and it begs the question as to whether or not they want to solve this issue,” Ray explained.
