(Houston, TX) -- Houston's billionaire businessman Tilman Fertitta says he may start accepting Bitcoin at his businesses.
Fertitta's Houston-based Landry's Inc. owns more than 600 restaurants, hotels and casinos. He says he believes Bitcoin is "here to stay."
Bitcoin is making a comeback as the week winds down. The digital currency was trading above 12-thousand dollars for a time yesterday. Bitcoin settled at more than eleven-thousand-700 dollars, after falling below ten-thousand on Wednesday.
The cryptocurrency is down more than 40-percent since its record high last month.
