It's a very familiar College Football Playoff

The College Football Playoff is here and, for the most part, it's the usual suspects.  Alabama and Clemson meet for the third time.

College football expert Jim Gumm is editor of The Blitz and he understands some fans would like to see some new schools reach college football's final four.

"As long as they play an exciting football game I'm not sick of it but I think a good portion of the country might."

Gumm says the odds makers think it'll be a Georgia-Alabama championship game.

"Georgia was favored by like one and a half to two points and Alabama was favored by one point, even though Clemson is the higher seeded team."

Gumm says he likes the underdog in both games and expects an Oklahoma-Clemson title game. He's a big fan of Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant.

"I don't think he's quite the passer Deshaun Watson was, but as far as his ability to scramble and make plays with his legs I think he's even a little bit more dynamic than Deshaun Watson was."

Gumm is also a big fan of Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield, who won the Heisman trophy. Again, Georgia and Alabama are slight favorites, but Gumm expects an Oklahoma-Clemson title game.
