Brace yourself for the mad rush on bread and milk at the grocery store; the first blast of winter in southeast Texas has brought us cold temperatures and rain, but the combination of the two could give us a wintry mix by Friday.
"I don't anticipate - if you see something frozen - that this is going to be a big problem because it will liquify... So, a snowflake falls out of the sky, or we get a little bit of sleet; our temperatures are above freezing."
Weather Channel Meteorologist Terri Smith says should not expect any accumulation, and driving conditions should not be affected.
