Texas Shoppers Reveal Their Top Cyber Monday Buys

With Black Friday now a blurry early-morning memory and Cyber Monday now upon us, a website for shopping mavens is revealing what Texans are buying this holiday season.

BlackFriday.com offers a closer look at shopping and spending plans across the country for the holiday season. It surveyed more than  1,000 U.S. consumers in order to get a better idea of the top trends of the season, and broke the data down state-by-state.

Quality of the product (48 percent), lowest price (35 percent) and retailers' reputation (18 percent) are the top three motivators of shoppers’ holiday purchases in Texas.

Also:

--Top-desired products for Texas shoppers on Cyber Monday are expected to be clothing (29 percent) and tablets/laptops/PCs (23 percent). 

--Nearly 54 percent of shoppers in Texas will check Amazon before looking or buying anywhere else, on trend with national data, as 55 percent of consumers across the US said they will price-check at Amazon before a purchase.

--Texas also follows national trends when it comes to the most coveted retail perks, with 48 percent of Texas consumers (and 45 percent nationwide) claiming that free shipping is the perk they most hope to take advantage of while shopping this holiday season.
