Democrats have been riding a high since last Tuesday’s Off-year election wins in Virginia and New Jersey. However, that may not mean much for next year’s mid-term elections.
Don Hooper at Big Jolly Politics says the left can be happy until they realize next year's election map looks a lot different than what we saw this past Tuesday.
“These were both two Democratic states. It didn’t change anything. It stayed the same,” Hooper explained.
And Republicans already picked up wins in four special Congressional elections this year. But don't tell that to Houston Democratic strategist Mustafa Tameez.
“President Trump hasn’t delivered on his promise. The wall isn’t built. Obamacare has not been repealed. And at best there will only be some kind of tax cut,” Tameez said, adding that Republicans should have been able to accomplish more with full control of Congress and the White House.
