Baby Boomers are the big online shoppers

This Christmas could have some bad news for brick and mortar retailers; a survey finds Cyber Monday is expected to be a bigger deal than Black Friday again this year.

Baby Boomers are the big online Shoppers

Sarah Hollenbeck of Offers.com says people like to shop with their smart phones.

"We found that Cyber Monday is beating Black Friday for the second year in a row in terms of when consumers are shopping."

But Hollenbeck says, surprisingly, Millennials are the ones most likely to hit the bricks on Black Friday.

"Millennials are more likely to hit the stores for Black Friday deals than any other generation."

Hollenbeck says Millennials are a double threat when it comes to shopping.

"While Millennials are definitely going to be using their mobile device -- up to 95% of Millennials will be using their mobile device for holiday shopping -- 19% are going to be hitting the stores and that's a bigger percentage than any other generation."

Hollenbeck says older shoppers will help make Cyber Monday a bigger deal than Black Friday for the second consecutive year. Clothes, electronics and Hatchimals toys are the biggest sellers.
