The Democratic National Party recently discouraged recruiters for job vacancies they had from looking at white male candidates. If you combine that with former First Lady Michelle Obama’s comments that Republicans were essentially “all men, all white,” you might think what white males are under attack from the left.
That's what people on the conservative side are thinking. Gary Polland with the Texas Conservative Review told KTRH this could have political ramifications down the road.
“I call it political suicide by a party that apparently doesn’t have an ‘open’ sign for white males anymore,” Polland explained, adding he thinks that some of those who become disillusioned by this could switch sides to Republicans.
And when Polland looks at the situation with the DNC and their vacant jobs he wonders what happened to the way those jobs used to be filled.
“What happened to hiring the best and the brightest? Isn’t that what we are supposed to do? For the Democrats they want the best and the brightest as long as you’re not a white male,” Polland said.
And he added that what the left forgets is that back in the 1950's and 1960's, before the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Democratic Party was the party that was considered racist against minorities.
