About a dozen cities around the country could see protests against President Trump tomorrow, and some are concerned because ‘Antifa’ is involved.
The group 'Refuse Fascism' is calling for these protests to put pressure on the administration. Bill Jasper with the John Birch Society tells KTRH his concern is that Antifa has ratcheted up their level of violence recently.
“They are getting very aggressive online and at their rallies,” Jasper said.
David Michael Smith with the Houston Socialist Movement told KTRH one of these protests will be in Austin.
“There will be at least a couple of hundred people that come out,” Smith stated.
Even though there is nothing specific planned for Houston, HPD tells KTRH that there has been internet chatter, so they will be prepared just in case something happens.
