Should We Actually Spend Money on Vitamins?

For decades now we've been told that vitamins can improve your health and even prevent you from having certain diseases. But scientists are finding that might not be the case.

There were a couple of studies done trying to determine if taking multi-vitamins can prevent diseases like Alzheimer's and heart disease ... And the results probably aren't what you'd expect.

“Both studies concluded that there wasn’t much benefit in using the multi-vitamin for trying to prevent those chronic diseases”

That's Jeanne Whalen from the wall street journal. she says at $23 billion a year, Americans are spending entirely too much money on these supplements, that in reality have no real benefit. Scientists say you're much better off getting your nutrients from fruit and vegetables.
