Halloween just became a political issue.
In this day and age of extreme political correctness, one Wisconsin school has banned costumes because it is not inclusive. A school in Massachusetts won’t use the word ‘Halloween’ because of the same reason, so they call it ‘Black and Orange Spirit Day.
What in the world is happening?
Political analyst Jacquie Baly tells KTRH this is not a blip on the radar screen, by any stretch.
“This is a trend. Everything is offensive to someone. As a result, everyone is halting everything,” she explained.
We checked with local school districts and the Texas Classroom Teachers Association. We could not find an instance of costumes being banned or the word ‘Halloween’ not being used.
