Texans, back from bye, visit Seattle

The Houston Texans will try to do something they have not done this year when they visit the Seahawks in Seattle on Sunday.

The Texans, who are 3-3 on the season, have yet to win two games in a row. They have alternated wins and losses over the last six games.

And this comes despite the fact rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson has taken over the offense and shined. Watson is coming off a big performance in the last Texans win, a 33-17 rout of the Cleveland Browns two weeks ago. But he knows there are things he can improve on.

“Just continue to make better decisions and just try to operate the offense as best as I can,” Watson said this week.

But that will be difficult against Seattle’s vaunted defense, something Texans Coach Bill O’Brien acknowledged this week.

“They are very, very smart, very well coached and very athletic. Earl Thomas is, in my opinion, one of the best safeties in the game,” O’Brien explained.

Sunday’s kickoff in Seattle is set for 3:05pm.
