A nursing shortage has become a real problem in certain parts of the country, particularly here in Houston.
Kelsey Seybold's Craig Volmers says the Texas med-center has had a shortage of nurses for more than a decade.
“We’ve seen the hospitals and clinics going up all around town, so there’s a huge amount of growth in this area” says Volmers.
Volmers says there are a number of incentives to become a nurse in the Houston area ... including signing bonuses and paid education ... but it's hard to keep up with the pace of Houston's growth.
