Texans are skeptical about a news outlet's claim that In-N-Out is more popular in Texas than Whataburger.
Business Insider recently ranked the California-based burger chain as the most popular fast-food chain in Texas, based on how often its patrons go there.
But In-N-Out has only 35 restaurants in Texas, mostly in DFW, Austin and San Antonio.
Whataburger has about 50 locations in San Antonio alone, and almost 200 in the Houston area.
