Gas prices will keep falling in 2017

It looks like you’ll keep paying less for a gallon of gas throughout the rest of the year.

Prices have been falling steadily for the last few weeks, and the experts say there are multiple reasons for that. There is the switch to winter blend gas, the end of the summer driving season, and even Harvey.

“Harvey’s damage caused so much of a pricing impact and so much of that impact is behind us, Patrick DeHaan at Gas Buddy told KTRH.

DeHaan says that in some spots around Houston you could see gas fall to less than two dollars a gallon.

“I wouldn’t get too excited, because it probably won’t get a whole lot better than that,” DeHaan stated, adding that the stations where you're paying in the $2.40's right now will see the biggest decreases.
