U.S. consumers have never felt better about the economy, a new survey finds.
The University of Michigan poll revealed that the consumer sentiment index is at 101.1, the highest it's been since 2004. KTRH money man Pat Shinn says the numbers support the optimism.
“We’ve got the unemployment rate at a pretty low level, we’ve got the stock market at an all-time high, so it should be no surprise that consumer sentiment numbers are high as well” says Shinn.
Shinn says the numbers aren't necessarily indicators for the future, but they do give an idea of what's going on right now.
