Watson, Texans Crush Browns

How do you rebound after losing to the Chiefs, and two of your best defensive players?

You play the winless Cleveland Browns.

Deshaun Watson is the first rookie to throw for three touchdowns in three straight games as the Texans cruised past the Browns, 33-17, in Houston.

Watson finished with 225 passing yards, three TD's and an interception in the win.  His 15 touchdown passes through his first six games are also an NFL record.

“It starts with the preparation,” Watson said, explaining his success. “Coming in and correcting mistakes, and then getting on the same page when looking at what the opposing team is trying to do.”

You might be surprised a rookie is enjoying this kind of success. But DeAndre Hopkins says none of Watson’s teammates are.

“He was always learning. Nobody in this locker room is honestly surprised with the way he’s developed so far,” Hopkins said.

Jonathan Joseph returned an interception 82 yards for a touchdown as the Texans improved to 3-and-3.

The Texans are now off until October 29th, when they visit the Seahawks in Seattle.
