The home improvement box-store chain Lowe’s will interview people for 200 job openings at Houston-area stores Saturday as the region tackles reconstruction projects in tens of thousands of homes.
In all, Lowe’s has committed to hiring more than 3,000 new full and part time employees.
Interviews will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for a variety of positions, including sales specialists with knowledge in flooring, millwork and appliances, as well as loaders, cashiers and customer service associates.
The interviews will be conducted at the following locations:

--1655 W. FM 646, League City.
--4645 Beechnut in Meyerland.
--5400 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena.
--16510 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land.
--150 South FM 1069, Aransas Pass.
--4120 Dowlen Road, Beaumont.
--1200 North F.M. 1604 West, San Antonio.
--8602 North Navarro Street, Victoria.
