Pasadena will remember 9/11 and honor "our everyday heroes" at 6:30 p.m. tonight in front of Pasadena City Hall, 1149 Ellsworth St.
The event will honor those who became victims of the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
The public is invited.
"We will also honor the first responders who were fearless and ran to help the victims, some becoming victims themselves," according to a statement from the Pasadena Police Department. "We will also honor our everyday heroes -- our first responders, police officers, firefighters, EMS and dispatchers. These are the folks who respond to the emergency needs of our community 24/7."
