The Brazos District Boy Scouts will hold the Scouting EXPO 2017 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sat., Sept. 16, at Academy Sports and Outdoors, 23801 Brazos Town Crossing, Rosenberg. The event will spotlight Scout camping activities, the Pinewood Derby, and learning outdoor crafts and skills. Interested kids can sign up for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturing. The Scouts will also be accepting donations for Hurricane Harvey relief. Among items needed are dry pasta, boxed or bagged sides, peanut butter, canned fruit and jelly. All items will be contributed to Helping Hands of Rosenberg-Richmond.
