The Texas Workforce Commission's phone lines are open throughout the Labor Day holiday weekend for people to apply for disaster unemployment assistance, or DUA.
The assistance is for people whose employment status has been affected by Harvey.
The toll-free number 1-800-939-6631. The lines are open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. today and Monday.
