Fort Bend ISD has opened Marshall High School as an emergency shelter for those who have been displaced by Tropical Story Harvey. The shelter, at 1220 Buffalo Run, Missouri City, will accept pets if they're in crates or kennels.
If possible, families seeking shelter should bring their own bedding, snacks, children’s games, chargers, water, paper plates, disposable utensils, towels and flashlights.
Donations of the items above plus diapers, wet wipes, drinks and pet kennels will be appreciated.
