The University of Houston-Clear Lake's Bayou Theater, 2700 Bay Area Blvd., opens its 2017-2018 season at 8 p.m. Aug. 31 with the first of 10 performances. Canada's Tango Boreal will join the Mercury Orchestra for "The Orchestra Redefined," a concert that merges Bach and Piazzolla with multimedia projections and theatrical elements.
