When the Beatles released Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band in June of 1967 the music world was turned upside down. The concept album was #1 on U.S. charts for 15 weeks in a row, 27 weeks in Great Britain. In 1968 it won a Grammy for Album of the Year.
Tonight the Texas Medical Center Orchestra celebrates the golden anniversary of the iconic album tonight at 8:30 at Miller Outdoor Theatre.
