Ronald McDonald House Houston will hold a 10K and 5K Run/Walk/Roll Dec. 2 at Sam Houston Park, Downtown. The event steps off at 8 a.m., and all proceeds directly benefit the local Ronald McDonald House, which provides a home away from home for families with seriously ill children receiving treatment at the Texas Medical Center. Registration is $35, and every dollar raised up to $300,000 will be matched by the Trafigura Foundation. Dogs, kids 7 and younger, and seniors 70 and older run for free.
