Voters say President Trump's Twitter habit is hurting his agenda. A Fox News poll finds just 17-percent of respondents believe his tweets are helpful, while 71-percent either disagree or "wish he would be more cautious". White House Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended the president in his latest dust-up with MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski...
"I don't think you can expect someone to be personally attacked day after day, minute by minute, and sit back. Look, the American people elected a fighter; they didn't elect somebody to sit back and do nothing... This is a president who fights fire with fire, and certainly will not be bullied by liberal media and the liberal elites within the media, or Hollywood, or anywhere else."
The Fox poll was conducted before the most recent controversy. The president's tweets are drawing warnings from inside the party, with several lawmakers saying his comments are beneath the dignity of the office... adding "the presidential platform should be used for more than bringing people down."
