A 7-month-old Houston baby died after his father left him in a hot car for 10 hours Friday. Houston police say the baby's father dropped his other two kids off at daycare but went on to work in northwest Houston, with the baby still in the back seat.
The baby's mother called around 7:30 that night to find out where the baby was. That's when he father rushed to the car and found 7-month-old Justin Huynh lifeless.
Police took the father in for questioning, but released him pending further investigation. Authorities continue to warn parents about he dangers of leaving loved ones, including pets, inside hot vehicles. Especially in summer months when temperatures can reach over 100 degrees with the windows shut.
No other details about the investigation are being released at this this time.
