The ramp connecting Interstate 69/Highway 59 to northbound lanes of 610 West Loop reopened early last night, after crews were called to make emergency repairs.
A large hole developed in the left lane, and crews replaced a slab of concrete. The ramps are more than 50-years old.
The repair will prove to be only temporary; the entire interchange is scheduled to be rebuilt starting this fall. The three-year project will include more lanes.
