The Houston Astros placed pitcher Dallas Keuchel on the disabled list, with a pinched nerve in his neck.
The 2015 Cy Young Award winner is off to a league-best 7-0 start this season. He also has the lowest ERA in the majors at 1.84.
It’s the first time Keuchel been put on the DL in his career.
The move is retroactive to last Wednesday, and the team only expects him to miss one start, scheduled for Monday against Detroit.
Keuchel pitched just five innings in his last start, a 12-2 win over the Marlins in Miami on Tuesday.
