You will be seeing and hearing ads attacking the new healthcare bill over the next two weeks. Democrats have spent thousands of dollars on ads running on YouTube and Google, among others.
It's starting get nasty. Political strategist Camara Clifton says the ads will target families and the elderly with messages of fear.
“The Ryan Plan, or the Republican Plan, or whatever the replacement plan for the Affordable Care Act is going to be will hurt them,” Clifton says. “Well, no, it will not hurt them.”
She doesn't think Democratic efforts to use the health care bill to unseat Republicans in congress will work.
“It's a good story line for a commercial,” she says, “but it's not reality.”
