Mayor Tips Off Budget Priorities in $2 Billion Plan

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner has delivered his proposed budget to the City Council.

Turner presented the budget Tuesday, saying the over $2 billion spending plan cuts costs and covers all pension expenses.

Turner also says the budget keeps the General Fund reserves at $186 million.

He's still hoping to see Houston's revenue cap repealed by voters, saying it would have resolved a lot of the city's budget issues.
