Men Seeking Plastic Surgery Help in Increasing Numbers

Modern man needs to look good for social media, to keep his enhanced wife happy, to be competitive on the job. That's why men are rushing to plastic surgeons these days.

Houston Dr. Paul Vinetas says about 9% of plastic surgery patients are men today, but that's about to go through the roof.

“The market is going to increase up to 40 percent men,” he says.

A total of 453-thousand men got Botox injections last year. The doctor thinks everyone is on social media and there is inherent pressure to look good.

“Everyone's taking selfies and everyone's posting pictures,” Dr. Vinetas says, “and obviously the better you look, the better you do.”

He chuckles, “Men have gotten the memo.”
