Saturday is election day for some schools, municipalities and utility districts.
Harris County Clerk Stan Stanart says his office is monitoring 62 elections -- including Houston ISD's Proposition 1, which will decide how to use local tax revenues.
“If you're in the Houston ISD, this is something that is very high visible and will impact you as a taxpayer,” he says.
Elections are taking place for mayor and city council in both Humble and Pasadena, as well as Humble ISD trustee.
“Go to HarrisVotes.com, you can find your polling location and we'll you if you're eligible to vote in an election regardless if whether my office is running the election or the other entity is,” says Stanart. “If the other entity is, we provide a phone number or a link to their website.”
Polls are open 7am to 7pm Saturday.
