Two are dead inside a North Lake College building in what Irving police consider a murder-suicide.
They had been looking for a white man in a orange tank top with a gray stripe, a brown buzzcut, and carrying a handgun.
Students are not being allowed on campus. They can be seen standing in a parking lot and are being directed away from the doors by Irving Police.
One person hiding inside a school office says he heard police tell him to stay inside and put up barricades.
The school has been on lockdown.
People are being asked to stay away from the campus and area roadways.
