At least five people are dead and more than 50 others are in the hospital after severe weather spawned tornadoes across parts of Texas.
Officials in Van Zandt County say the death toll could increase, because several people are still unaccounted for.
The National Weather Service confirmed at least three twisters touched down in and around Canton, Texas – 60-miles east of Dallas.
Cars were overturned, trees were uprooted, and several buildings were damaged or destroyed - but more comprehensive damage assessment is being done.
