Former President George H.W. Bush was released from a Houston hospital, family spokesman Jim McGrath announced Friday morning.
The 41st president, 92, was treated for a bout of pneumonia that forced his second hospital stay this year. He is also recovering from chronic bronchitis.
Now that Bush is home from Houston Methodist Hospital, doctors may continue with respiratory treatments to help complete his recovery.
"President and Mrs. Bush are very pleased to be home spending time with family and friends and grateful for the outstanding care provided by his doctors and nurses, " McGrath tweeted.
