After an Amber Alert had been issued earlier this morning for a five year old girl in Waller County, Sheriff’s Department officials now say the girl, identified as Precious Valdez, has been found safe.
She had been last seen with family members at about 10 o’clock last night in Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park near Prairie View.
She was taken away by ambulance after being found to be checked out.
Officials said she wandered off and wound up sleeping on an air conditioning unit with a blanket that kept her warm all night.
The FBI and Texas Equusearch were called in to assist with the search.
