Former President improving after "mild case of pneumonia"

Former President George H.W. Bush hopes to be discharged in the next few days or so after remaining in the hospital over the weekend.

Bush has been at Methodist Hospital since Good Friday battling what's being called a "mild case of pneumonia."

Family spokesman Jim McGrath says Bush is feeling "terrific." "With the Bushes leaving for Maine soon, doctors will hold 41 through the weekend to ensure a fully clean bill of health," McGrath said.

This is Bush's second hospitalization this year.
