An overnight police standoff comes to a successful end in Baytown.
Police were called to a neighborhood off East Wallisville Road near John Martin Road about 6:15 Saturday night. An armed man who reportedly suffers from PTSD had locked himself in a bedroom; his girlfriend told authorities he had not taken his medication.
He surrendered peacefully before dawn this morning. There is no word on what – if any – charges he will face.
