Astros Implode in 7-3 Loss to KC

The Houston Astros gave up six runs in the eighth inning and lost to the Kansas City Royals 7-3 at Minute Maid Park.  It’s their third consecutive loss, after opening the season 3-0. 

Starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel had another strong outing, striking out four in seven innings work.  The trouble started with losing pitcher Luke Greggerson, who gave up six earned runs in one-third of an inning.  He threw only 16 pitches and took the loss.

Catcher Brian McCann hit his second home run of the season, a third-inning opposite field shot.

Lance McCullers, Junior will make his second start of the year in today’s series finale.  First pitch is at 1:10.
