Clinton Speaks in Houston

Former Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton makes a stop in Houston; addressing “Annie’s List”, a group dedicated to helping elect democratic women.

In response to Thursday’s missile strikes on a Syrian airbase, Mrs. Clinton says President Trump needs to develop a strategy to help end the civil war in that country.    She also condemned Syria’s president for his use of chemical weapons against rebels and civilians.

Clinton has kept a relatively low profile since her November loss to Trump.  She has recently been speaking to women’s leadership groups.

Earlier this week, she said she has no further plans to pursue political office, despite rumors of another possible run at the White House, and even speculation that she might run for the mayor of New York City.
