A west Houston woman is recovering from a gunshot wound, after being accidentally shot by her boyfriend during a home invasion.
Houston police say the man heard someone breaking into his home near Interstate-10 and Silber Road. He grabbed his gun and opened fire, hitting his girlfriend instead of the intruder.
There is no word on the extent of the woman’s injuries, no on whether charges will be filed in the case.
