The job of securing our Southern border is tougher than you think.
For every 11,000 illegal aliens there are five ICE agents. Those numbers revealed in recent Congressional testimony.
“It says a lot about the priority we had in the past about enforcing immigration law and removing illegal immigrants from this country,” Bob Price at Breitbart Texas said.
President Trump wants to hire 5,000 border patrol agents and another 10,000 ICE agents. Is it enough?
“They could probably use five times that amount but I don’t think Congress is going to go for that kind of budget expense at this point in time,” Price stated.
But there is good news; the changes since Trump took over are resulting in fewer border apprehensions.
