Mayor Sylvester Turner will start and lead a team in the Tour de Houston, the city’s annual fundraising bike ride, on Sunday, March 19.
Benefiting the Re-Plant Houston Program, the ride will begin and end at City Hall, 901 Bagby.
With three ride length options, the Tour de Houston is designed for both leisure riders and cycling enthusiasts. In addition, it is a BP MS 150 recommended training ride.
The ride is part of the Mayor's Wellness Weekend.
Here’s Sunday’s schedule:
6:30 a.m.: Check in and registration.
7:30 a.m.: 61-mile route.
8 a.m.: 43-mile route.
8:30 a.m.: 20-mile route.
10:30 a.m. (approximately): Post-ride party.
