Houston Police this morning have announced the arrests of four people in connection to a string of robberies in the city.
During a news conference Stephen Hendry of HPD said the four that are in custody had a violent streak to them.
“These four were violent gang members. Some of these robberies involved ambushing people inside of their homes” Hendry stated.
H-P-D Chief Art Acevedo says that he hopes the District Attorney will look to prosecute this case to the fullest possible extent.
“I am calling on the District Attorney, who I know will be a great partner in this, to not look at this as an opportunity to have quick justice. We want to make sure that these people are put away for a long time,” Acevedo explained.
