A Santa Fe boy stabbed his father to break up a fight with his mother.
Police say the 12-year-old pulled a pocket knife because his father wouldn’t stop fighting with the boy’s mother.
The father was taken University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. His injuries were not life-threatening.
It’s not clear if the fight was an argument or a physical altercation.
No one has been charged in the incident, but Santa Fe police are still investigating. The family’s identity has not been released.
